In the book Romeo and juliet by william shakespeare many themes such as hate, social expectation and trust and and fate

One example of hate in the Romeo and Juliet play is the rivalry of the family.Another example is how Romeo tried to befriend tybalt because he was going to be seeing juliet and instead tybalt wanted to fight romeo.Another example of hate is how when tybalt saw romeo at the capulet party and wanted to kill him right then and there.

some examples of social expectations in romeo and juliet is how juliet's mom lady capilet wants juliet to become very successful and start a family .Another example is how juliets dad or father lord capulet wants juliet to marry a wealthy man(like paris) and have a good life.Romeo's parents want the same for him they want him to be wealthy aswell and be able to make them proud.

Some examples of trust and fate in romeo and juliet is how they overcome the hate of their gamilies with their love.Another example of trust and fate is how friar lawrence saw they true love between them and knew it was unbreakable.Also another example is how no matyer how far they were from each other they always ended up together.Also the last example is how they put their life on the line just to be with each other till death

These are the themes I chosd to write about because i feel like they stood out the most to me and they were in the book or play a lot

I'm  still  reading  the  book "Rats Saw God"   i  am  almost  finished.  it  is  a  really  good  book  and  really  makes  you  think  about  high school  life  so  far  Steve  is  with  a  girl  named  Dub  and  he  really  likes  her  he  thinks  she's  funny ,cool ,and  very  exciting  to  be  around  and  he  loves her.But  Steve  and  Dub  are  happy  but  Dubs  sister  Sylvia  does  not  improve  of  their  love  life  she  thinks  they  are  too  young  and  too  immature  to  be  in  love  with  each  other.

what  i  think  of  this  book  is  that  it  is  really  funny  and  original  it  tells  a  story  that  might  be  able  to  relate  to  people  out  there  that  are  obviously  in  the  same  situation  as  Steve  or  has  been  in  his  footsteps  the  book  is  pretty new  to  me  i  have  never  read  a  book  thats  going  through  what  Steve  and  the  book  is  set  up  differently  which  i  like  because  one  part  is  the  book  and  the  other  is  Steves  paper  he  has  to  turn  in  to  graduate  and  i  think  it  is  really  nicely  set  up the  way  the  book  switches  off  to the essay  then  back  to  the  book  is  really  well  written  out 

So far  in  my  book "Rats  Saw  God" the  main  character  Steve York  is  a  student  who  is  basically trying  to  get  out  and  live  his  life  he  is  a  senior  and  cannot  wait  to  get  into  the  open  world  and  be  an  adult.his  father  was  an  astronaut  and   is  trying  to  have  Steve  to  be  the  same  as  him  and  is  trying  to  make  him  follow  his  footsteps  but  Steve  does  not  want  to  and  wants  to  try  and  be  is  own  person  and  do  his  own  thing  he  doesnt  want  to  be  like  his  dad  at  all. Steve is  also a  heavy  stoner  or  marijuana  user  and  loves  rolling  up  the  glass  after  a long  day  of  school. But  now  Steve  is  one  credit  short  in  his  english  class  and  now  has  to  write  a  100 page  paper  so  that  he  can  pass  and  graduate  school. The  only  problem  is  steve  does  not  know  if  he  should  do  it  or  not  but  he  wants  to  avoid  summer  school but  the  good  thing  is  that  Steve  can  choose  the  topic  and  no  one  else  will  see  the  paper  besides  him  and  the  guidance  counselor.

Steve  York  is  really  smart  he  has  been in  advanced  classes  in  school  and  he  has  been  on  very  expensive  trips  because  of  his  smartness  he is  an  outsider  as well  he  doesnt  wear  what  other  students  wear  he  mixes  his  wardrobe  up  and  is  not  ashamed  of  what  people  think  of  him and  that  is  what  i  read  so  far  in  my  book. 

Rikers High

in  the  book  rikers  high  so  far  the  main  character  as  his  name  or  how  i  know  him  best  number  forty  is  a  young  man  that  is  17  that  is  now  on  rikers  island  one  of  the  most  well  known  jails  in  new  york  city . He  was  put  there  for  steering  or  telling  people  where  to  buy  drugs. He  was  outside  on  his  step  when  a  man  came  up  to  him  and  asked  him  where  he  get  some  weed  forty  told  him  and  the  guy  gave  him  a pat  on  the  back  and  then  left  soon  enough  after  that  the  cops  came  and  took  forty  to  rikers  jail . Now  he  is  doing  his  best  to  stay  out  of  trouble  and  get  out  of  rikers  for  the best  of  it  but  his  luck  isnt  so  great. So  far forty  has  gone  to  court  for  a  trial  over  2  times  in  5  months  and  both  times  his  trial  was    postponed  now  forty  is  stuck  on  rikers  for  even  more  weeks  and  cant  take  it  anymore  oh  yeah  he  also  got  sliced  on the sides face  from  when  some  kids  jumped  his  chain  partner  nd he  had  to  fight  to  stay  alive  and  got  cut  on  his  face . Now  he  is  on  rikers  island  and  get switched  from  his  main  building  to  sprung 3  then   is  tested  by  some  kid  named  brick  who  is the  big  guy  there  who  runs  the  place  or  something  and  is  going  to  highschool  on  rikers trying  to  get  his  senior  year  started  so  he  doesnt  fall  behind  on  his  school  work  so  he  can stay smart.And  that  is  what  i  read  so  far  the  book  rikers  high.

so far i am still not done with the book "two the hard way" and it is really starting to get serious and there is alot of drama . so far in the book Romeo one of the main characters walks out while out of nowhere see's his mother pearl layed out on the ground bloody and beaten Romeo doesnt have his phone so when he see's a thug named mark he goes up to him nd asks if he can call an ambulance for his mother mark responds with a "thats not my problem" then Romeo responds with a right cross to Marks face leaving him on the ground then Romeo goes and looks for a house phone which mark doesnt have. soon romeo finds a cell phone attached to marks waist and takes hit after mark grabs Romeo's leg but then Romeo responds with another punch to marks head knocking him out cold.Romeo calls the ambulance and they arrive shortly soon he gets to the hospital and brother meets him there they talk about what happened and a certain someone shows up nigai. she is there and hears what happens to pearl but then they also talk about the love road ahead of them. shortly after that something goes on and Romeos brother Kwame goes on a manhunt for the person who did this to his mom.Romeo is told to stay here and keep his mother and grandmother company ,after about twenty minutes romeo loses patients and goes to look for someone while he does that he runs into his friend amir who is trying to get people a petition soon amir gives up and goes with romeo on this goose chase . they get the address to where the person lives and then they decide to take off after they realize they need a car they go to mr.harold an old man in the neighborhood then they take off .they soon get to the place and see the building romeo brings a gun with him to the scene. soon he gets to the apartment and is caught by a fat black guy who is apart of the beating romeo freaks out and runs then people start chasing im romeo gets back to the car and soon enough the guys chasing them crashes mr.harolds car with their hummer . the boys abandon the car and get into a young mans car they discuss and he agrees to drive them the guys are still chasing them.they get back to the neighborhood and then runn while romeo and amir are running they hear gunshots fired at them Romeo gets scared and uses the gun and shoots one of the men. Kwame and wicked run and find romeo and amir they are surprised but then wickeds gangster side comes out then wicked and his men start shooting . and thats what happened so far in my book.

two the hard way

so  far  in  this  book  there has  been  a lot  of  chaotic  things  happening  but  first  let  me  introduce  you  to  the  main  characters .The  main  character  is  a  young  man  named  Romeo  baxter. Romeo  is  seventeen  years  old  and  is  the  starting  QB  for  his  schools  varsity  football  team. Romeo  goes  through  a lot  of  trouble  and  his  going  through  a lot  of  trouble  romantically  he   jsut  went  through  a break  up  that  was  with  the  love  his  life  or  his  soulmate , not  to  mention  this  crazy  girl  vonneta  saying  he  got  her  knocked  up  she  is  having  his  kid. Romeo  has   been  a  great  student  the  past  years  but  now  his  senior  year  that  hes  going  for  a scholarship  he  all  of  a  sudden  starts  to  fall in  these  traps   of  things  that  shouldnt  have  been  done  in  the  first  time  Romeo  was  not  ready  for  this  and  he  sure  doesnt  know how  to  deal  with  it.


another  important  character  in  the  book  is  Kwame  Baxter  , kwame  is  romeos  older  brother  who  just  got  out  of  prison . kwame  got  time  for  having  narcotic  drugs  on him  but  the  thing  was  they  werent  his  in  the  first  place  see  kwame  had  tagged  along  with  his  friend  whos  name   was  wicked  . wicked  was  a street  dealer  who  had  just  got  a new  car  at  an  auction  so  wicked  let  kwame  drive  his  old  car  fiklled  with  drugs  while  wicked  had  the  clean  car  soon  after   kwame  pulled  out  of  the  auction  parking  lot  cop  cars  were  all  around  him .  kwame  got  out  and  a search  dog  ran  to  the  car  smelling  or  scenting  the  drugs soon  enough  kwame  was  in  the  prison  for  two  years  . now  that  kwame  is  out  of  prison  he  is  going  to do  whatever  he  can  to  stay  out  of  prison  and  to  hang  with  the  right  people. kwame  is  also  trying  to  stop  the  violence  and  the  disrtibution of  drugs  in his  neighorhood  he  also  is  trying  to  set  kids  who  look  up  to  these  so  called  idols   into  the  right  path

The  book  I  am  reading  is  called  "Gears of War" . This  book  is  very  emotional, has  a lot  of  action , and  has  a  bunch  of  moments  that  will  leave  you  shocked  and  will  make  you  want  to  read  more.The  main  character  in  this  book  is  Marcus Pheonix  who  is  the  leader  of  the  delta  force.I  know  now  you  are  probably  saying  oh  no  another  fiction  book  that  but  has  a  bunch  of  violence  and  blood, But  you  are  wrong  yes  it  is  a  book  about  war  but  it is also  a  very  good  book  about  war  and  will  keep  you  asking  for  more.

In  this  paragraph  I  will  talk  about  the  main  character  Marcus. Marcus  is  a  leader  or  commander  for  the  Delta  force. Marcus  is  also  very  tall,  muscular  and  always  looks  angry  or  looks  in  a  bad  mood. Marcus  is  very  tough  and  ignorant  when  it  comes  to  expressing  his  feelings  and  is  very  hard  or  stiff  when  it  comes  to  showing  emotion  or  feeling  for  someone  but  you  can't  blame  him  he  didn't   make  himself  hard  and  emotionless  it  was  the  army  I  wonder  if  he  will change  by  the  end  of  the  book.

To  conclude  so  far  in  this  book  it  is  very  exciting  and  detailed.I  hope  I  am  done  with  it  before  my  next  blog  so  I  can  give  a  summary  about  it
